Jeep is expanding its u.S. e-bike market, Media CNET reported.

Jeep has reportedly actually sold e-bikes before, but this will be their first time in the U.S. A quick search revealed that the company had previously sold e-bikes in South Africa.

Although Jeep has not yet provided any additional information, the company expects to provide more information this spring, and the e-bike will be available in June.

According to reports, the electric bike will be equipped with a 750-watt engine, a charge can travel 40 miles.

Produced in partnership with the e-bike company QuietKat, it has 4.8-inch all-terrain tires and is equipped with QuietKat’s Fire-link suspension, four-link system and four-piston hydraulic brakes.

Notably, this isn’t the first time Jeep has produced an electric bike. However, this is its first electric bike released in the United States.
