Electric-Scooter-Shock-AbsorberGuinness World Record for longest mileage for e-bikes expected to be broken

The Tulsa couple will break the Guinness World Record as their goal.
Natalie Suarez and Logan Mayberry are about to ride the longest ride on an electric bike.
They plan to travel 20,000 miles across 48 states.
Maybury explained that the goal was the idea that Natalie had come up with while walking.
“One night, we were walking by the river, and Natalie said, ‘What if we only cycled through 48 states?’ “I think it sounds really cool. So we packed up all our gear, and now we’re at the starting point. Mayberry said.
Their ride is expected to last about a year and will be completely unsupportd, meaning they will have to carry all their gear all the way. (newson6)

Electric scooters will be welcomed at the University of Athens and Ohio on Tuesday.

On February 18, local time, Spin, a unit of Ford Motor Co., began deploying electric scooters in Athens. Spin distributes free helmets on site.
Tia Hysell, director of transportation and parking services at the University of Ohio, says safety is a top priority. The University is committed to supporting sustainable development by using safe, reliable and affordable transportation facilities on campus. Shared travel introductions will provide new transportation opportunities for the campus community.
A specific parking location is set on campus. Tia Hysell also encourages users to ensure that electric scooters do not block sidewalks, buildings and parking spaces. Electric scooter parking should not interfere with the campus environment.
The city does not have designated parking spots, but allows citizens to park in a neat and orderly manner on sidewalks.
Spin electric scooters cost $1 per lock and 29 cents per minute.
Spin also provides a safety video to educate riders about riding safely. (Athens News)
