Mercedes-Benz launches electric scooter to power last-mile commute


Recently, Mercedes-Benz launched its own electric scooter, named escooter.

eScooter was launched by May ben in partnership with Swiss company Micro Mobility Systems AG, with two logos printed on the car’s head. It is approximately 1.1 m in height, 34 cm in height after folding, and has a pedal 14.5 cm wide with a non-slip coating and an estimated service life of more than 5000 km.

The 13.5-kilogram electric scooter is equipped with a 250W motor with a battery capacity of 7.8Ah/280Wh, a range of about 25 km/h and a speed of up to 20 km/h, and is approved to ride on public roads in Germany.

Its front and rear tires are 7.8-inch rubber tires with a complete shock-absorbing system, headlights and taillights, and are equipped with double front and rear brakes.

There is a display in the center of the car that shows speed, charge and riding mode, while also supporting mobile app links and providing more features.

Mercedes or Micro have not yet announced the release or pricing of the model, but sources say it could sell for $1,350.
