Stator is a stand-up electric scooter with a single-axis design with huge tires and self-balancing.

Nathan Allen is a designer at Stator and a professor of industrial design at artCenter School of Design in Pasadena, California. Stator, the company that makes Stator, a subsidiary of Nant Works, dr. Patrick Soon-Seong, uses automotive-grade materials.

Stator looks clean and wired built into the controls and poles.

Stator’s handlebars are one-sided, with throttles, brake handlebars, horn buttons, LED displays, on/off buttons and keyholes.

Weighing up to 41 kg, 68 inches long, 16 inches wide, with a maximum power of 1000w and a 18650 lithium battery.

The wheelbase is 50 inches (1.27 meters) and can be fitted with tires measuring 18 X 7.8 – 10 M/C.

Stator has four cycling modes, Limp (Slow Walk), Eco (Energy Saving), Sport (Sport), and X (Limp mode for bumpy roads, or to protect riders in case of equipment problems), which riders can choose according to their circumstances and circumstances.

The top speed is about 48km/h, the charging time is 4 hours, ideally the range is up to 128 km, but the measured range is 80-96 km.
