The advantages and disadvantages of electric scooters and sliding skills

With the advancement of technology, cars can no longer fully meet people’s travel needs. More and more people are paying attention to portable transportation tools, and electric scooters are one of the representatives.

Electric scooters are compact, convenient and easy to travel for ordinary public office workers, and can solve the road congestion in the city during peak hours.

Two main advantages:

1. Convenient to carry: small size and light weight (currently the lightest 7kg battery, may be the lightest means of transportation)

2. Efficient travel: The normal walking speed is 4-5km/h, the speed is 6km/h, the jogging is 7-8km/h, and the scooter can reach 18-255km/h, which is 5 times that of normal walking.

Main disadvantages:

Electric scooters use solid small wheels about 10 inches. The small tire size determines that the tire pattern is difficult to make and is more complicated. The tire contact area is also small, and the grip is not at the same level as that of bicycles and cars. In addition, the suspension of solid tires is much worse than that of pneumatic tires. Therefore, the following three shortcomings are more prominent:

1. Easy to slip. When driving on a flat tiled road, be careful when turning, especially if it has just rained and the road is still wet, it is best not to ride on it.

2. The shock absorber is poor. Riding on the sidewalks with deep grooves and potholes will make you uncomfortable. It is best to experience different personal feelings.

3. Unstable dragging. There are always places on the road that are not convenient for riding, such as shopping malls, subways, and especially subway interchange stations. Some interchange stations require a long walk, so they can only go forward.

In addition to general sliding, the electric scooter also has tricks:

1. The skills of electric scooters and skateboards on U-shaped boards are the same. You can feel the feeling and thrill of surfing during the rapid decline. But never rush down on uneven ramps or steps.

2. Hold the handle and lift the body. After rotating 360 degrees on the spot, your feet will be placed side by side on the pedals after being vacated and glide by the inertia of your body. No skateboarding foundation, be careful with this trick.

3. Step on the rear brake with one foot, and then rotate 360 degrees like a compass. If the rear wheel is not equipped with brakes, it is difficult to make a movement.

4. Hold the handlebar with one hand, step on the brake with your right foot, then lift the front wheel, try to make the brake close to the sole when jumping, so that there will be no harsh sound when landing.
